SATURDAY (June 3rd) is the opening of “Through My Father’s Eyes: The Filipino-American Photographs of Ricardo Ocreto Alvarado.” This traveling exhibit explores the lives and work of Filipino-Americans in California post-WWII.
Enjoy a day of cultural celebration with delicious food and handmade goods from local Filipino makers as well as traditional entertainment performances. A panel discussion of experts in local Filipino-American history will share their stories, insight, and knowledge with guests who wish to learn more about the experiences of the Filipino-American community in San Joaquin County.
